About UsYour Friendly Fashion Destination

We are Scout & Molly's Ballard. We truly believe that no one style fits all and that we have to have choices for our customers so that she can find something that makes her feel beautiful and comfortable. Our stylists can help our clients step outside their comfort zone, find new trends and approaches to their style in a comfortable environment.

Our team believes that we should always treat each person that walks through our doors like we want to be treated and we strive to do that each and every day. We take our clients seriously. They become like family, stopping to see what’s new and to catch up with their favorite stylist. We hope that our clients feel like they are shopping in their best friends closet.

  • Tell us about yourself and how you got started with Scout & Molly’s?

I’ve spent my career in Software and Cloud Infrastructure development in both Project and Program Management. As I thought about the next stage of my career I began thinking that I wanted to own and operate my own business, taking my skills from my professional development and applying them to this retail business. We began investigating franchises and found Scout & Molly’s. It spoke to us because we also have a dog named Scout! And so we looked into it. We realized this franchise allowed us to develop our dream of a family-owned business, with a collection independently curated pieces, to meet the needs of my customers. We found we could partner with local businesses, which we have, and it was encouraged. We found we could launch a new business with the help of the Scout & Molly’s team around POS infrastructure, marketing, introduction to vendors, and inventory planning & management. We loved the concept, we loved the quality of materials, the quality of each unique Scout & Molly’s. We were sold after meeting Lisa Kornstein Kaufman, and hearing her story.
