Scout and Molly’s followers- HI AGAIN!

It’s been far too long, and I’m so excited to be typing on here right now. My summer was so busy and keeping up with the blog grew difficult, but I’m back and more inspired than ever. This summer was full of amazing adventures. I visited Free People’s Home Offices, started my own personal blog, spent time with family and friends, and traveled Italy! So long sweet summer, hello last year of college. I’ve been slammed with school work (and watching NYFW online), and have lots of new street styles and trends to share. I was just chosen to be featured on Teen Vogue’s Fashion Click Bloggers and they are featuring my personal blog on their site. I’ll put the link to it at the bottom! Lisa and I reunited over Mexican food..of course.. and got back into styling and pictures. These shots were taken for the website and I wanted to share the looks with you! I decided to use one picture from three different looks to show my favorite fall color and simple trends for the season. The first look I took a sheer Gypsy 05 tie-dye top to casually dress up some denim skinnies. I love the delicate look to this shirt and how the color plays off the material to make it appropriate for the fall season. So heres my first tip: don’t be afraid to go sheer these next few months. Throw a leather jacket over the look for warmth! My second look I threw on this black Annie Griffin over AG green denim. I love how this top is detailed and beautiful. My second tip is to take note of little details. The little dotted details on this blouse made the outfit girly and feminine paired with military colors. My third look featured this fabulous Tart Fur Vest in a grey color over a Three Dots lavender top and AG green denim. Third tip: Play with fur this fall. It can make any simple outfit have a cozy feel but dress it up at the same time. I love the color mixing in this outfit using pastels to add a color pop matched with the AG green denim.

Green. Emerald, military, wintergreen. All so perfect for fall, and all over my mood board lately. Scout and Molly’s is carrying this color in all different ways that can be paired with cozy or delicate pieces to create a beautiful fall look!

Head over to the store and see us, and keep these three tips in mind when dressing this season. It feels great to be back and I can’t wait to get creative on here!
