Scout & Molly's Quarry Village

Dear John knows denim like no one else, and this season they’ve outdone themselves with two standout styles that belong in your summer rotation immediately.

DEAR JOHN DENIM  ·  SUMMER 2026

If you’ve ever worn a piece from Dear John Denim, you already know. The fit is real. The quality is real. And the effortlessness- that thing where you put it on and just feel like yourself, only better, is absolutely real. Dear John has built their entire brand around the idea that denim should work for you, not against you, and these two dresses are proof they haven’t lost a step.

We have both on the floor right now at Scout & Molly’s Quarry Village, and we have a feeling they won’t last long. Here’s why you need to come see them in person.

“Great denim isn’t just a fabric; it’s a feeling. Dear John gets that, and these two dresses prove it.”

Meet the Two Dresses

LOOK ONE

The Classic Denim Midi

This is the denim dress you’ve been looking for. Sleeveless, button-front, midi-length, it hits every note. The medium wash is that perfect lived-in blue that’s neither too light nor too dark, and the fit through the bodice is structured without being stiff. The A-line skirt gives it movement and ease, making it just as comfortable to wear all day as it is polished to look at.

Wear it buttoned all the way up with flat sandals for the most effortless summer look imaginable. Or undo a few buttons at the hem and add block heels for something that reads a little more dressed-up evening. Either way, those tortoiseshell sunnies are non-negotiable.

LOOK TWO

The Floral Jacquard Mini

Same DNA, completely different personality. This mini takes Dear John’s signature structured denim silhouette and wraps it in the most beautiful cream-and-gold floral jacquard print, delicate yellow blooms and soft grey leaves on a warm ivory base. The V-neck and above-the-knee length give it a freshness that’s all summer, and the subtle sheen of the jacquard fabric elevates it well beyond typical denim territory.

It’s the kind of dress that makes people say “is that denim?”, and then immediately want to try it on themselves. Pair with white flip flops for a casual-chic daytime look, or swap in strappy heels and gold jewelry for dinner. The big geometric sunnies finish the whole thing perfectly.

Dear John?

There are a lot of denim brands out there. Dear John earns its place by doing something most brands don’t bother with: they actually think about how women want to feel in their clothes, not just how the clothes look on a hanger. The cuts are thoughtful. The fabrics are quality. The washes are chosen with care. And the result is pieces that feel like they were made for a real person living a real life.

That’s exactly the kind of brand we love bringing into Scout & Molly’s. Not just aesthetically beautiful (though these absolutely are), but genuinely wearable, the kind of thing you’ll reach for on a random Wednesday and still feel great about wearing to dinner Friday night.

CAN’T CHOOSE? HERE’S HOW TO DECIDE: If you love a classic, throw-on-and-go look that works from coffee to cocktails, the midi is your dress. If you want something that makes a statement and shows a little more of your personality (and your legs), the floral jacquard mini is calling your name. Honestly though? Both are a completely valid answer, and we fully support it.

Both styles are on the floor now at Scout & Molly’s Quarry Village. Come try them on; that’s really the only way to know which one (or both) is coming home with you.
