Charlotte’s fashion scene came together in style on October 9 to celebrate the grand re-opening of Scout & Molly’s Waverly, a beloved Charlotte women’s boutique entering an exciting new chapter under owner Falguni “Fal” Patel. The event was a joyful blend of fashion, community, and purpose, perfectly representing what Scout & Molly’s is known for nationwide.

The day’s highlights included three live fashion shows, seven women-owned vendors, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Charlotte Area Chamber of Commerce and Turning Point, a nonprofit dedicated to ending domestic abuse, sexual assault, and child abuse.
“This day was all about bringing people together through fashion, community and purpose,” Patel said. “We wanted guests to feel inspired and connected, and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate and support local women-owned businesses and a cause that means so much to us.”

Guests were treated to a lively atmosphere featuring Alpha-Lit Charlotte marquee lights, live music, refreshments, and a 20% storewide discount. The boutique unveiled its new fall arrivals from top designer brands such as Joseph Ribkoff, Clara Sunwoo, Elan, and Melissa Nepton, along with exclusive collections only available at the Waverly location.
Throughout the event, guests connected with inspiring local businesswomen, including Avixee LLC Jewelry, The Nibble Bar, Whimsies by Elizabeth, Baker Bejal, Let’s Brie Friends, author and model Brooke Lehman, and Michele Melville of Pearce Bespoke Charlotte.

“Owning a boutique like this gives me the opportunity to empower women—whether that’s through confidence in what they wear or by collaborating with other female entrepreneurs,” Patel shared. “Charlotte has such a strong creative energy, and this re-opening was a reflection of that.”
As part of its community partnership with Turning Point, Scout & Molly’s Waverly donated a portion of all event sales and encouraged guests to contribute at checkout. This collaboration reflects the boutique’s ongoing mission to connect fashion with purpose.
